Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !
(Fatwa: 1240/1023/B=1433) The holy Quran says: وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلاَّ اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِيناً [النساء : 157] بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزاً حَكِيماً [النساء : 158] It is mentioned in this verse clearly that Almighty Allah lifted him towards Himself. He will descend in this world near the Day of Judgment. And those who dispute in this matter that he was crucified or killed, they are certainly absolutely wrong.
