Question: What are ur views regarding hadith in wich Prophet(Saw) was riding & he suddenly went down & put two leaves on it & said there are two graves & are undergoing punishment. Does it imply that Prophet (SAW) was hving knowlge of unseen(Ilm Ghaib)

(Fatwa: 937/937/M=1432) Hadith makes mention about inserting a branch of tree. The holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did so because he was informed about the punishment of grave through wahy (divine revelation). It is false to argue with this hadith that the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) knew ghaib (the unseen).
