Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 833/719/SD=09/1440)

It is not lawful for a male to wear silver chain and it is makrooh to offer salah wearing it.

ولا يتحلى الرجل بذهب وفضة مطلقا إلا بخاتم ... الخ (شامي، زكريا ديوبند: ج 9، ص 516)
