Insurance comprises of interest and gambling which are absolutely Haram in Islam. Therefore, the earning or commission of insurance advisor is not Halal; since it is helping in sin, as the Holy Quran says: but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah; for Allah is strict in punishment. (Surah Maaidah, 5/2)
