(Fatwa: 451/321=L/1430)

The interest gained out of fixed deposit is also haram; if you invest your saving in any business the income will be lawful. Therefore, it is better to invest the amount in any fair business, instead of fixed deposit.

Q. Assalaam-u-Alaikum, I own a credit card processing company, in which I have a few representatives working under me. Some of them are also non-muslims. I, myself, do not sign up any wine stores, but cannot stop them from doing so. The thing is, that I get a certain percentage on their accounts.
