    This is the Islamic ruling that if a son dies before his father, then children of the son (grandchildren) will not get any share in the property (of their grandfather) if he has other sons as well. After the demise of son, the father should have given some shares from his properties to the wife and children of the late son for their livelihood. If he did not do so, then it is his carelessness. The other brothers of the late should morally give some shares to their late brother's wife and children for their livings; by this they will get reward and even the soul of the father will be in peace. Also, according to the Holy Quran, something should be given to them morally.
