Title: Assalam Alaikum, mother died leaving some jewellery which was given to the father then,but now after the death of the father the jewellery was distributed amongst 3 sisters & 2 brothers.now one son after keeping it for 45 days returns to one sisters saying he does not want it, other siblings donot want his share ,now what should be done to the jewellery???

(Fatwa: 899/836=B/1430)

The value of all the jewelleries should be estimated and then distributed in 7 shares. Out of the total, each brother will get 2 shares and each sister will receive 1 share. Thereafter, everyone can gift his or her share to one whom he or she likes.
