Title: Working for bank

Question: I am an electronics and communication engineer I have been offered a job as information security analyst. My company works for providing information security to banks. Is the money I will be earning halal or haram? Also please specify if I directly work in information security department in a bank is it permissible or not?

(Fatwa: 7/34/L=01/1437) The job of information security does not involve helping in interest. Hence it is allowable to work directly or indirectly in the department of information security in itself. However it is better if you look for another job.
