Question: Assalamu alaikum I wants to know passing of exam by copying (NAKAL) is jaiz or najaiz. And earning of mony from any job (That is getting by above procssed degree) is haram or halal.

(Fatwa: 490/490=M/1429)

To pass an exam by copying is not lawful. But if one gets a job with the degree obtained by above-mentioned method and he is capable for that degree and job, and performs his responsibility duly then his income will be lawful. Though, he shall be sinful of copying in the examination. However, in case one is caught copying, he may be liable for legal punishment, therefore one should avoid it.
