(Fatwa: 601/355/L=1434) You may borrow money from your non-Muslim friend. There is no harm in it as per the Shariah.

Q. I am a Muslim working in a gas station in Calif. USA. My manager and the owner are good Muslims. Both helped me a lot when I first came to this country a year ago.
