    Title: Invitation

    Question: Our some relatives and friends invite me for tea and food. I know those relatives and friends earn income from haram business or unlawfully. So I am very confused that time when those relatives and friends invite me. I avoid this invitation. But sometimes that man questions me the cause of avoiding invitation. Please solve this matter am I right or wrong.

    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

    (Fatwa: 355/259/D=1434) If their total or most income is haram then one should avoid eating at their homes. But if half or less than it is haram then it is allowable to eat. In case of avoiding, you should sometime express wisely why you are avoiding their income, so that they could care about making their income pure.
