(Fatwa: 620/620/M=1433) Shariah commandments are of two kinds: (1) Mamurat: (orders which we are asked to obey). (2) Manhiyat: (prohibitions which we are asked to avoid). Haram is the high status of prohibition and sin is its result.

Q. Is it lawful to spend the interest amount we get from banks to pay bribe to government departments for getting the lawful work done. Even to get the lawful work done we have to pay bribe without which the file will not move.
