Question: We are hiring a non-Muslim cook for out office. Please let us know if this is OK to have a non-Muslim cook if following two conditions: (1) No Muslim cook is available. (2) Muslim cooks are not as good as non-Muslim cooks with regard to experience etc.

(Fatwa: 35/27/H=1433) It is allowable, but you should keep on searching any expert Muslim cook as well.
