Title: I would like to know that since i threw the t.v. out of my house alhamdulillah i at some times get extremely boared after doing house and religious work. is it ok to see cartoon like barbie and tom and jerry ect. sometimes just to have something fun in life since i dont get time to go somewhere for fun?

May Almighty Allah give you stability in good deeds and protect you from the deceit and wickedness of heart. TV is an instrument of amusement and play; it is haram to watch any programme on TV. Watching entertainment programmes on instruments other than TV is wastage of time; hence, you should avoid it. Keep some books and read them i.e. The Anecdotes of Sahaba, and books related to the biography and affairs of pious women.
