Interest money is impure. As far as taqwa (piety) is concerned, one should not give such money to one's own children. However, if the children are very poor and needy, then it is allowable to give them interest money.
له مال فيه شبهة إذا تصدق على أبيه يكفيه ذلك ولا يشترط التصدق على الأجنبي . (هنديه 349/5)
