Consuming little intoxicants invites naturally to more consumption and when a person gets addicted to it he is unable to stop himself from the little. Therefore, in view of the religions, it is necessary to declare something unlawful if found intoxicant, and whatever thing is intoxicant should be unlawful. So, it has been mentioned in the hadith:

ما اسكر كثيره فقليله حرام (مشكاة حديث: 3645)

Things which intoxicate in much quantity their little quantity are also haram.

The bad effect on drinking is that drunken quarrels with people, abuses them and creates disturbance.

    (2) When it is an accepted thing that only eateries are strongest factor to create disorder in men physically and morally. These animals live in dirty and impure places; they are naturally low and disgusted.  Also some nations have been disfigured in form of pigs as punishment. Besides, these animals do not differentiate between father and mother. Blood is an impure thing, people shun form it, they wash their clothes and body if smeared with blood. When an animal is slaughtered, (its blood is discharged and) the meat becomes clean from blood, but in dead animals, the blood is absorbed into meat and makes it unclean. Therefore, the Holy Quran says:

حرمت عليكم الميتة والدم و لحم الخنزير

Also, Allah Almighty has declared them as unlawful because of their impurity. Therefore, the main reason for their being unlawful is the commandment of Allah, as He says: إنماحرم عليكم الخبائث
