Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !
(Fatwa: 10/14/N=01/1435) It is clearly mentioned in the hadith narrated by Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Aas (رضي الله عنه) that the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that first azan should be answered and then durood should be sent on me and then the dua after azan should be recited i.e. dua-e-wasilah. (see Mishkat Shareef p 64, 65 with reference of Sahih Muslim Sahrif Vol. 1:166, Sunan Abi Dawood p. 77, 78, Sunan Tirmidhi Vol. 2:202, Sunan Nasai Vol. 1: 11 and Amalul Yaum Wallailah Libin Sunni Vol. 1, 47, 48) It is wrong and bida’ah what the student invented in religion, it is against hadith by her which is null and void. It is mentioned in the conditions of Qiyas mentioned in Usul Fiqh books that ruling which is analogued is not mentioned clearly in the Quran and Hadith. Hence it is necessary to stop this new custom immediately.
