Title: Prayeres and Duties

Question: I heard that surah Mulk and surah Sajdah are the surah which gave the relief from the grave punishment? It is possible that I recite surah Yaseen and ask Allah (SWT) to give the benefit of it after my death? What are the other acts for easy death (I mean maut ki sakhti aasan hona) and for exemption of grave punishment? Please answer I really scar of painful death and grave punishment. My father expired on 12 Ramadan. Shall he be exempted from grave punishment or he entered directly in Jannah?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1450/1114/B=11/1434) Recite Surah al-Mulk once before going to bed as well the following dua 25 times: اللهم بارك لي فى الموت وفيما بعد الموت . In-shaAllah, you shall be safe from grave punishment and from the difficulties of the death. Also recite surah Yaseen once in the morning then in-shaAllah all your works shall be fulfilled in good manner.
