Question: I usually recite tasbihat-e-Fatimah from left to right hand. Is it correct way? Can we recite it only right hand?

You may count tasbih on your left hand as well, but it is better to count it on right hand. It is narrated in one hadith that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to count the tasbih on his right hand. It is also mentioned in hadith that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would use his right hand for performing good things.

قال النوي: روينا في سنن أبي داؤد والترمذي وفي سنن النسائي باسناد حسن عن عبدالله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعقد التسبيح. وفي رواية: بيمينه . (الأذكار للنوي: 18/ 1، تحقيق: عبدالقادر الأرنؤوط، ط دارالفكر، بيروت) وقال العيني: عن عبدالله بن عمرو قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعقد التسبيح. قال ابن قدامة: بيمينه. (شرح أبي داؤد للعيني: 413/ 5، كتاب الصلاة، باب التسبيح بالحصى، ط: مكتبة الرشد، الرياض) وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: كانت يد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اليمنى لطهوره وطعامه، وكانت يد اليسرى لخلائه وما كان من الأذى.
