Title: going in jammat for 40 days

Question: (1) I want to go in jamat for 40 days but my mother allows me only for 10 days what should I do? Can I go without her permission? (2) I want to keep beard but my mother says that I should keep it after some years. What should I do now? Please answer me.

(Fatwa: 833/777/SD=9/1438)

(1) You should go in jamah for forty days with the permission of your mother. If she does not allow you to go in jamah for forty days then you should go in jamah for as much days as much she allows you, then keep on working in your locality.

(2) It is mandatory for each Muslim to grow the beard equal to one fist. If your mother does not allow you to grow your beard then it is not lawful to obey her. Thus, you must start growing your beard right away.
