The pajama or pants should be worn above ankles. It is unlawful to wear such a long one which covers the ankles; it has been sternly prohibited in hadith. It is right to fold it above ankles. If the pant is so tight that the body structure is displayed or it creates problems in rukoo, sajdah and taharah then it is undesirable to wear it otherwise it is allowable.
