Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1498/1498/M=1431)

Both types of sayings (i.e. sunnah and bidah) are quoted concerning the shaving of moustache.
حلق الشارب بدعة و قيل سنة . (درمختار).
It is better to trim the moustache with scissors etc till the lip is clear.
