Title: Assalamualikum Mufti Sahib, Can u please advise me Sunnah of Mohammed SWS for the following? 1. What is way of Mohammed SWS to put the Shirt Button (i.e) from Upper side or Lower Side ? 2. What is way of Mohammed SWS to put the cloths on Nails (i.e) Frist put Shirt(kurta) on Nails and Paijama (pants) or First put Paijama (pants) and then Shirt(Kurta) 3. I was having beard as per Islamic Sariya (one fist), sometime I thiking there is some hukook for Beard also. What is my question is How Shall I maintain the Beard (i.e) what is the way of Mohammed SWS to maintain the Beard (to grow full beard) ? 4. Also can u please advise me, is there any book for complete sunnah of Mohammed SWS, can u please advise the book name?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 646/460=L/1430)

(1) We could not trace this thing in any book.

(2) It is mentioned in hadith that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) purchased pajama, but it is disputed whether he put it on or not. He generally used to wear lungi and chaddar and some times lungi and kamees. So, most probably he would be wearing first lungi then chaddar or kamees; since it is more covering.

(3) It is wajib to grow beard to one fist length, trimming below it is unlawful. Imam Navavi, in the commentary of Sahih Muslim (page 129), mentioned 12 makrooh acts; one among them is to keep the beard scattered. Therefore, you should apply oil etc occasionally and let it grow.

(4) ?Shamail Kubra? is an extensive and comprehensive book. Moreover, there are other short books as well like: ?Rasoolullah ki Sunnatain? and Uswah-e-Rasool Akram.
