(Fatwa: 366/409/N=1433) The case mentioned in the question is categorized as bai (sale) and in sale it is necessary that mabi’ (commodity) is available and defined. So it is mentioned in the books of Fiqh. But here the case is not so, as mabi i.e. mangoes are no longer available and its quantity is not known and fixed; hence this dealing is not lawful as per the Shariah.
