(Fatwa: 179/D=14/File_D=1433) The main proof of distortion in these Books is that these books (Torah and Bible) contain lots of contradictions and faults. A few examples are quoted here from "Bible Se Quran Tak" the Urdu Translation of "Izhar al-Haq". The following are concerning Torah: (1) The author of "Izhar al-Haq" writes under the discussion "The present Torah is not the book of Hadhrat Musa (عليه السلام)": Whoever compares 45 and 46 chapter of the Book of Ezekiel with the chapter no. 28 and 29 of the Book of Number, shall find both of them contradicting each other in Ahkam (commandments). And it is obvious that Ezekiel (عليه السلام) was following Torah. Now if this was famous Torah in the time of Ezekiel then how he confronted its commandments? (2) In the same way this thing is found in most places of Torah that the son shall bear the guilt of their fathers up to three generations. While in the Book of Ezekiel, chapter no. 18, verse no. 20 says: "The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. (And it is an open contradict). The author of "Izhar al-Haq" writes explaining the contradictions of Bible: Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. [The Second Book of Kings, Chapter 8, verse 26] Whereas, the Second Book of Chronicles, Chapter 22, verse 2, says: Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. The Book of Samuel II, Chapter 24, verse 13, mentions: "So God came to David and told him; and he said to him, "Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land?" And the First Book of the Chronicles, chapter 21, verse 12 says: "Either three years of famine." See the first verse mentions seven years and second verse three years. And the commentators of these verses have declared first saying wrong. (Bible Se Quran Tak 375) Likewise, the author of Izhar al-Haq writes describing the faults of Bible, that the Book of Genesis, chapter 17, verse 8 says that: "Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; after you throughout their generations." It is also totally wrong because the Canaan never got all the land and his generation never got kingdom and everlasting possession. Also this land had been witnessing a great number of revolutions that did not happened in any country. And long ago the Israel government has been vanished from this land completely. (Bible se Quran Tak, 459) For more details see the said book i.e. "Bible Se Quran Tak" the Urdu translation of "Izhar al-Haq". This book has been published from Deoband with the commentary and research of Hadhrat Mufti Taqi Sahib in three volumes.
