Title: Shariah Purdah

Question: My age is 22. My two elder sisters and brothers got married and also I have 3 younger sisters (all are matured). I want to ask about "purdah". My question is "is purdah imported within family between us (brother-in-law-sister-in-law-sisters-me-mother-father)".

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 872/556/L=1434) In the question mentioned above, it is necessary for you and your sisters to observe purdah from non-mahram men. A non-mahram is one with whom nikah is not haram forever. Hence it shall be necessary for you to observe purdah from your bhabhi (sister in law) and your sisters should observe purdah from their bahnoi (brother in law).

Q. As Salamualaikum, Dear Mufti Sahaab, I tried to convince my wife several times, the importance of wearing Hijab, but she refuses all the time to wear. If i force her she says, she will stop even wearing wheil over head when she goes out.
