Title: I am married for the last 23years. My mother is old but from the date of my engagement(arranged by my parents)my mother is not satisfied with my spouse and my inlaws giving false allegations. Becuase of the said reason I separated my spouse so many times from my house but she always remained obedient. On one pretext or other(baseless) my mother leaves my house and prefer to remain away from us. I am the only son of my parents among five daughters. My father has expired some time before. I am not in a position to motivate my mother not to do these actions. My relatives and even my sisters have full sympathy with me after realising the facts. Whenever I or my spouse try to see my mother she gets irritated and speaks the words which r not tolerable. I am now frustated what to do. Please guide me in the matter as per shariat.

You should always pay a visit to your mother to see and enquire about her health and carry along with you some gifts and other necessities of life. Give a cool hearing to her bitter words and do not retort her. Keep patience and do not lose hopes. All the same, do not send your wife to her. Yours this sufferance shall earn you reward.
