    Title: About Eid

Question: I am from Purnra, Bihar but right now living in Kota, Rajasthan. Most of the people of Rajasthan are Brailavi. Here Ramadan started 1 day later from ours and I am fasting according to ours but Eid Salah may also be 1 day later here. My question is what will I do? Will I fast on that day on which Eid will be celebrated in Bihar because of that, in Rajasthan Eid is on next day or I should offer Eid salah. If I should offer Eid salah then how should I alone offer Eid salah?

    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1445/1092/D=1433) See what happens. It is possible that the moon is seen on 30 as per you and on 29 as per them, so there will be no difference. Yet if the moon is not seen on 30 as per you and the local people keep fast then you too do not miss the fast and do not offer Eid salah alone rather offer Eid salah with them next day and keep fast with them, no matter if you will have to keep 31st fasts.
