Title: Regarding pills to abort pregnancy

Question: I and my wife are both doctors, daily we get one to two cases where patient (ladies) wants us to give them abortion pills, as husband don't use precautions, and then the husband and wife don't want the child. They come to us with 45 days to 2 1/2 month pregnancy to abort. I clearly reject to give the pills as I have seen many couples who don't have children and they are trying to get one by the will of Allah, as we have clinic in Muslim locality we have 20 -25 Muslim doctors and 1 non Muslim also who regularly gives pills as told to us by the patients. they generally cost 2000/- per patients. I need a fatwa regarding that shall I give pills for abortion or abstain from it for the sake of Allah. As basically I fear that what answer I will give to Allah of the question; that who gave you permission to kill (abort) the child. Please reply soon.

Aborting pregnancy of four months or more is tantamount to murder. Also the abortion of less than one or two months is also not lawful. Thus, you do good by forbidding such people, it is necessary for you to avoid abortion. May Allah give you abundant reward! Amen!
