Title: audit of banks hala?

Question: Is it halal to audit of accounts of banks, financial institutes and insurance companies? Please give reason clearly. Is it halal to do job in an MNC company which has multi products including loan and financing and other halal products. I heard that if 50% income from haram products it is not halal to job in it. Please give clarification. I am waiting for your reply.

Generally, Banks, Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies are involved in more than 50% haram business hence one should avoid them. For details see the book “Fatawa Usmani” vol. 3, p. 327, by Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani Sahib.
