Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !
(Fatwa: 323/334/N=04/1436) This Hadith has been recorded in Mishkat Sharif with reference to Sunan Ibn Majah. However, it is termed as weak Hadith as there is some confusion in the chain of a narrator Ajlaj. But since the story has been recorded with some difference in some other Hadiths hence the hadith is at least Hasan Lighairihi (in good condition due to external factors). But the word ghina in the Hadith does not imply song as in Urdu language, as the word is used to read poem loudly. This is recorded in Ruh al-Ma’ani (21:70) with reference to Hafiz Ibn Hajr (رحمة الله). Also, the poem mentioned in Hadith is a simple poetry not musical song.
