Question: My question is whether eating on red coloured dining cloth (Dastar Khawan) is sunnah or not or is it mustahab?

(Fatwa: 206/155/B=3/1438)

We could not find any such Hadith. However, we do find in Hadith that the dining sheet (Dastar Khawan) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was of leather.
