(Fatwa: 305/L=85/tl=1432)

(1) It is not shirk or bida'h to supplicate for blessings (from Allah) in graveyard provided one does not ask the dead ones. However, it is not proved to go for this very purpose to graveyard. A man can supplicate Allah at his home or in a mosque. However, it is lawful to go to graveyard and do dua for dead ones.
(2) Salah shall be valid behind such Imam. If this Imam has any other fault, write it and request for a fatwa.
(3) Such person should keep on offering salah behind this Imam so that he could not be deprived of the blessing of jama’ah.
