Title: having sexual intercourse while one`s wife is in impure state (haiyz)

Question: If someone is having sexual intercourse while one`s wife is in impure state (haiz) is there any fine of any kind to pay or does it affect the nikah?

(Fatwa: 651/672/H=07/1436) In case of uncontrolled lust, if you did intercourse with your wife, then both of you should do taubah and istighfar sincerely. However, you would better give in charity one dinar (4.25 milligram gold) in case she discharged dark red coloured blood or its price and half dinar (2.121 milligram) in case of yellow coloured blood as kaffarah. But it is not a wajib sadaqah. You shall not be sinful in case you do true and genuine taubah and do not do sadaqah. فلزمه التوبة؛ ويندب تصدقه بدينارٍ أو نصفه ومصرفه كزكاة (درمختار) وقبل بدينار لو الدم اسود وبنصفه لو اصفر قال فى البحر ويدل له مارواه أبو داؤد والحاكم وصححه (شامى 1/41). It shall have no adverse effect on your nikah.
