    Title: I have the following question to ask: When the Holy Qur??n says that the previous scriptures (Torah and Injeel) have been corrupted. In what sense does the Holy Qur??n uses the word ?Musaddiq? (Confirming) in the following verses like 2:89, 2:101, 3;81, 12:11, etc. What? Confirmation? is the Quran doing about them? Please, an EXPLANATORY REPLY IS NEEDED.

    The scriptures are abrogated as per their rulings and the Quran is ?musaddiq? of them as per their truthfulness i.e. the Holy Quran confirms the previous heavenly scriptures that all the original books were revealed by Allah and were right. The commandments which Islam has abolished will not be acted upon; therefore now whatever the religion of Islam says will be followed.
