Question: Asalamalekum v Rahamatulla v Barkathu Is it necessary to reply Azan? If we reply the Azan and perform Wuzu later then we will miss Jamaat. Can we perform Wuzu while Azan is being called? (Aajana ka jawab dena jarurri hai. Agar hum magrib ke ajjan ke waqt , aajan ka jawab denge, baad mei hum waju karenge , to jammat ek rakat jayenge. hum ajaan ke waqt wajoo kar sakate hai kya . plz give answer Jajak Allah.)

It is Mustahab (desirable) to reply the call of Azan, but not necessary. And, it is allowed to perform Wuzu while Azan is being called. So, if you reach mosque in Maghrib Salah at the time of Azan, then perform the Wuzu as quickly as possible and try to catch all three Rakat of Jamaat. Do not wait Azan to be finished for performing Wuzu.
