Title: Leading a salah

Question: I want to ask about if a person is mazur-e-wudhu, can he lead the salah. I live in a small town of Canada and whenever we have to perform salah people would tell me to lead the salah as I have a beard, but I am mazur-e-wudhu as my wudhu gets nullified frequently for that I have asked a Sheikh who is also from a branch of Darul Uloom, so he said one wudhu is sufficient for one fardh salah. Could you please tell me what to do?

If you are suffering from incontinence or farting, and the urine drop or farting does not stop for a time in which you can make wudhu and perform only fardh salah. If the complete time of one salah passes and still you are not out of this state and the drop does not stop for such a time then you will be considered mazur (excused) person according to Shariah. As a mazur, you will have to make wudhu once the time of salah comes and you may offer as many salah as you wish within the whole time of that salah. But if other thing that invalidate the wudhu is found, for example oozing blood, then wudhu will break.

Such mazur person cannot lead others in salah. Thus it is not lawful for you to become the imam of other people as the salah of others will not be valid. Yes, in case you are relieved of that problem and you made wudhu then you may lead people in salah. Thus either you should excuse people from doing imamat or see if you have done wudhu after your uzr was stopped or if in case of uzr was continued if you made wudhu while the uzr was stopped then you may do imamat, otherwise not.
