Title: ABOUT 3 rakath witr

Question: I have some question in prayer which I have listed down. Can you please reply? During Isha namaz, I have prayed the following: (1) 4 Rakahs fardh. (2) 2 Rakahs sunnah. (3) 3 Rakahs witr. After I have performed these prayers, I have slept and when I get up it is tahajjud time after I praying tahajjud. Should I pray 3 rakahs witr or not?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1565/1296/B=10/1435) Then, you shall only offer tahajjud salah. You need not repeat witr salah. Witr is offered only once during one night. It is not lawful to offer it twice. It is mentioned in hadith: لا وتران فى ليلة It is not lawful to offer witr twice in a single night.
