(Fatwa: 517/476=L-1429)

The salah will be valid without any flaw if t-shirts and pants are not so tight which may expose the structure of hidden parts and also the shirt is not sleeveless and the pant is above ankle. However, it is also wrong to put pants above ankles for salah only and then let it down; since wearing pants/pyjama etc above ankles is necessary. In the Hadith, it has been sternly warned to wear pyjama and pants etc below ankles.
