Question: Is it permissible for a boy to bathe his little sister?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1475/1390=D/1429)

If the sister is young to an age of four, then a brother can give her bath. If she is more than four year old then he can give her bath after making her wear knickers. But, it is not right after seven years of her age:

فی حاشیۃ الشرنبلالیۃ: اذا لم یبلغ الصغیر والصغیرۃ حد الشھوۃ یغسلھما الرجال والنساء

قال الشامی: ای عورتہ تکون بعد العشرۃ کعورۃ البالغین، وفی النھر کان ینبغی اعتبار السبع لامرھما بالصلاۃ (1:300)
