Title: Disposal of holy text

Question: Can following things be thrown into flowing water? How can be it processed/disposed by anyway? News paper cuttings which includes Islamic holy words, old/worn out pages of the holy Quran and other Islamic books etc?

(Fatwa: 137/97/D=1434) Keep them in any carton or bag and dip it into the river after tying with heavy brick or stone; so that it could go down to the ground. The other option is to dig a pitch of 3 or 4 fit and bury it inside.
