    Title: Dealings or Stealings

Question: I used to work in a Jewish owened store few years ago. I stole approximately $8000 money from the store slowly while I was working there to pay off my Tuition Fee in college. Now I have a good job, and want eagerly to pay back that amount of money to that store/store owner without letting them know that I stole money from them. For your information, that store was owned by two jewish guies. I came to know that now One of them got seperated from that business. If I want to pay back $8000 to the oweners/store, how do I do that to clear my debt in hereafter from them?

    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1016/852/B=1432) First, you should enquire whether the time when you stole 8 thousand dollars how many people were partners in the Jew's business and what was their ratio in the business. Then, you should pay the eight thousand dollars according to their ratio partnership. It is not necessary to tell them about the theft; even you may give them as gift or transfer in their account or tell them that I had so and so money of you with me. In short, give them in any way; you shall get rid of this burden.
