    Title: I am an Indian living in UAE.In your Fatwa: 1409/1125=L=1430 you used the word "verbally".I want to know what did you mean by "verbally".Does that mean that a person has to say the vow loudly so that the person himself listens to it or should he say it in presence of someone else.My second part of the question is;A VOW INTENDED INTERNALLY WITHIN HIMSELF IS A VALID ONE OR NOT?Please do reply as soon as possible.

    For a vow to take place, it is necessary that the words of vow are uttered in a way that one hears it. The vow does not take place by only thinking in heart.
