Title: Waswasa

Question: Please reply as soon as possible to the following question. Recently I am experiencing doubts about my Iman. I want to remain Muslim forever, but my heart is not convinced with the proofs of nubuwwah. Is this kufr? Please advise as to what I should do.

(Fatwa: 164/121/D=1434) Keep on reciting the following extensively: رضيت بالله ربا وبالاسلام دينا وبمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نبيا ورسولا . If you encounter waswasa (doubts) then reject it by reciting: لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) It is mentioned in hadith جددوا ايمانكم بقول لا اله الا الله thus your Iman will keep on renewing and it shall grow stronger. Read the following three books authored by Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanavi (رحمة الله): (1) Hayatul Muslimin, (2) Talimuddin, (3) Ahkam Islam Aql Ki Roshni Me. In-shaAllah, it shall benefit you a lot. Have you written the detail of dissatisfaction then we would have written its ruling or we would have answered your objections.
