Title: Publication of Photographs of living being

Question: I want to know whether publication of photographs of living beings is permitted or not? Actually I am planning to start a Newspaper. In Newspaper, it is required to publish photographs of living beings also. There is no advertisement without photographs and so it is required to publish pictures. I will not publish porn or indecent photographs. I will only publish decent photographs of living beings and that too when it is necessary. Kindly let me know it is allowed to publish pictures of living beings in such a case. JazakAllah

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

It is unlawful to take pictures of living beings and publish them in the newspaper. Hadith sternly warns against the same. Hence it may not be allowed to publish them in the newspaper.
