Title: Ihram

Question: I live in Yanbu 400 km away from Makkah. Alhamdulillah, I have performed Hajj this year and returned just on Thursday. Now I have to go again Makkah for work -Job Interview can I go without Ihram to Makkah because now my intension is not for Umrah. So can I go to directly in job office and there after go to tawaf.

(Fatwa: 1729/1729/M=1434) It is not lawful for you to enter in Makkah without wearing ihram whether you intend to perform Hajj and Umrah or not. ولا يجوز للآفاقي أن يدخل مكة بغير إحرام نوى النسك أو لا، ولو دخلها فعليه حجة أو عمرة’ كذا في محيط السرخسي في باب دخول مكتة بغير أحرام. (الهندية 1/245’ كتاب المناسك، الباب الثانى في المواقيت).
