Question # : 45215

Saudi Arabia

I am basically from India (Dehradun) shifted in Saudia (khobar) in December 2012, I am associated with dawat and tabligh from time when I was in India. The question here is in Saudi when we go in malls and we see the meat of chicken, beef are coming from Brazil, US, Australia in frozen and halal stamp is there. Can we eat that food? As my other companions of dawat and tabligh say to avoid that. Secondly the Saudi frozen food is available but in that they follow new practice of slaughtering. They halal the animal and put them to hot boiling water. Now in these cases how can we eat non-veg as we avoid restaurant non-veg also?
Very Few shops rarely have Indian/Pakistani meat which is far to go. One of my dawat friend slaughters himself, but he does it once a month only and many people have share in it, many times I cannot get that one also as it is already booked by someone, so my request is please help me out at earliest as I am facing difficulty in these foods.

That frozen meat is not reliable. Merely by stamping halal it should not be halal and one should avoid eating it.
(2) If the chicken is taken out after slaughter after a few minutes in order to soften its skin while the water is not so hot, then this method is correct and the meant will remain pure and halal to eat. Yes, if the chicken is put in hot water for a long time that its entrails are dissolved in the meat then the meat of the chicken will turn haram and impure. It is not lawful to eat such a chicken.
